From 2021, the Italy-France Maritime Interreg, Euro-MED and NEXT Med Programs are working on an experimental multi-program coordination mechanism.
The first experimentation focused on sustainable tourism: the goal is to concretely support tourism stakeholders in the Mediterranean area.

The synergistic work has produced as a first result a catalog of good practices of sustainable tourism. A document that brings together some of the best achievements, creative tools and governance documents with the aim of offering solutions to common problems affecting the Mediterranean.

During the event, a summary of the work done by various public and private stakeholders in projects of the 2014-2020 programming will be presented. A great opportunity to better understand the real capacity of these partnerships, with the idea of extending the synergies to many other Interreg Programs in the 2021-2027 programming period.
